Ron Jenyns has been skippering boats along the Queensland coast for over thirty-two years. He is an expert fisherman and acknowledged as one of Queensland's most experienced charter boat captains.

Ron was born into a boating family and has spent a lifetime fishing the waters off Moreton Island and the Queensland coast. In the early days his love of boating led him to yachting where he won nine consecutive Australian Championships and represented Australia at three Olympic Games in the Finn Class. However Ron's main passion was always fishing and he set many World and Australian records.

In the early 70's Ron was one of the pioneering game fishermen to explore the new giant Marlin grounds in the Cairns and Lizard Island areas. It was during this time that the charter business was born. It was his love of this lifestyle that saw him eventually leave his position of Managing Director of an international garment manufacturing business to follow his dream to run a charter boat along the Queensland coast.
