SOUTH PACIFIC II is fully equipped and crewed for both reef and game fishing. We supply rods, bait and tackle and your catch is filleted and bagged.

Day trips include a hot breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon snacks.

Overnight trips include all meals, linen and towels

Drinks are not included, so BYO or fax your list and your Order will be chilled ready for your arrival

February, March, April

If you enjoy a mix of game and reef fishing, now is the time to do it. The warm, East Australian current passes closely along the south-east coast and with it comes marlin, sailfish, wahoo, Spanish mackerel, tuna and dolphin fish. With outriggers down and four to six lines set, you troll at a Comfortable 8 to 9 knots to and from our productive reef fishing grounds.

May, June, Mid July

Winds usually turn more offshore so there is a better chance of calmer weather and overnight reef fishing. Shoals of dolphin fish are still around but game fish usually retreat to waters well offshore. Old timers used to call this 'snapper time'. Unfortunately, they are not as plentiful as they used to be, however our guests usually bring home a fair catch of reef fish and with the comforts and companionship enjoyed on South Pacific II, you will enjoy a great trip.
